British bombers hit the factories in Hamburg hard and on the southern front, Graziani is flipped in Tirane. The assault on the city is however a major failure and a CW inf div is the only loss in the entire battle. Meanwhile, Italy is evacuated of all but a few garrison corps and yet another HQ-A arrives in France from the US.
On the eastern front, the Russians are on the move. Attacks are launched all over the front line with little success. Some ground is gained however and the Russian tanks now threaten the strategically important city of Cernauth. Noteworthy is that for the first time in the game, Russian pilots actually manage to land their aircraft safely after an aerial battle.
Japan also sails their fleet to the South China sea, possibly to protect the precious oil deliveries from the CW fleet which has been massing in Calcutta. This leaves road to Truk open for the US and American Marines take the port with little resistance. As a bonus, Marcus Island and the northern Marianas are also taken and Japan, deciding the island is no longer of any use, finds it best to move the Saipan garrison to places where it can be more useful, the move however costing a damaged AMPH.
US, French and CW subs sail the seas of the pacific hunting for Japanese convoys but receive little but bombs from the Japanese naval air.
Chinese fighters have their monthly shootout with Japanese fighters and again, the Heroic Chinese pilots are victorious.
