All japanese attempts to advance are thwarted by lousy weather. Heave rain storms prevents the troops from taking advantage of a rift in the chinese southern front and snow and mud stops the japanese army from taking care of chinese partisans in the north. A short moment of calm between the storms makes it possible for the japanese strategic bombers to make an attempt to stop chinese production, but the mission is a complete failure with none of the bombers being able to find their target. Heads will roll in among in the japanese air command.
The German drive through Belgium grinds to a standstill before Brussels, mainly because of extraordinarily bad weather which grounds the Luftwaffe for almost the entire turn.
CW sends Alexander to France to oversee its defense. An infantry corps is sent to Gibraltar to substitute the MOT which is in turn sent to reinforce Egypt. Germany seems to largely ignore the brittish troops in Rotterdam and Antwerp, hoping that they can take Belgium and France without having to fight the Royal navy as well. CW also attacks the german convoys in the baltic with long range bombers but they escape unharmed despite the brittish efforts. Better luck than against the german submarines and the cruiser Fiji notices the Commonwelths first naval kill out of port. Churchill also officially declares that the first part of the brittish carrier program has now ended. The brittish shipyard workers announces a one day strike to show their discontent.
