Summer heat arrives.
French and British fleets enter the sea lanes just off the Italian coast, forcing German and Italian fighters and naval bombers to enter it as well. Some tough fighting occur with  lots of damage on both sides, but the zone remains contested.

German troops in Russia continue the advance, while  USSR, lacking reinforcements this turn, is having a hard time trying to build some kind of defensive front.

Meanwhile, the German fleet contests the North Sea, and Luftwaffe is ordered to move to the Western front. With a German attack being imminent, the Western powers decide to do a preemptive strike on Belgium. The Belgian army puts up a valiant defence along the border, but is unable to stop the French advance. German troops quickly move in from the east, but arrive too late to help the Belgians in their struggle to protect Antwerp and Brussels.Stalin and Rosevelt in deep concentration

As the turn goes on, Royal Navy gets the upper hand in the North Sea and disposes of all the German fleet there, removing the supply from the Belgian troops who has invaded France and occupied Rouen, leaving them open to an easy assault from Gort.
German fighters take out the revenge on CW by damaging the last CV in the north.

Further south, the tough fighting continues in Italian Coast. CW gets another CV damaged, but continues to fight, and send in an invasion force. It is however intercepted long before it can reach the shores, and withouth air cover, it is an easy target for the Italian Naval bombers who severely damage all the transport ships, seriously  delaying all British plans for the Med.

In Russia, the German advance continues. Zhukov gets surrounded in the north, and further south the city of Kursk is taken. Russians also leaves Kharkov and Rostov for German troops to occupy before the long turn ends.

However, the German advance leaves room for some Russian maneuvering, and a daring Naval assault on Helsinki is made by the Leningrad garrison. The city is in fact occupied, and things starts to look slightly better, but Russian hopes are crushed as Mannerheim together with  two more Finnish corps along with a newly arrived German corps hurridly transported from Kiel quickly kills all defenders.

In Manchuria, Japanese and Russian troops continue to engage in maneuvering war, but without much else happening.
