Springtime...

Spring arrives. And with it, another snow storm.
Allies reinforce the bridge head in Sicily, and as this stirs up some noise inthe Balkans, Germany and Italy decides to do a preemptive strike and attacks Jugoslavia in the snow. Some progress is made but the campaigins seems to come to a halt just outside of Belgrade.

But after the first few impulses, weather clears up and with a roar, the German army attacks all over the place in Russia. No less than eight russian corps are killed in the attacks with no German losses, and Stalingrad is occupied by German forces.

Japan makes an assault on Manila. It begins with a bloody battle in the air as American CVs send bombers to help the defense and Japanese CVs intercept those. Not a single American bomb gets through and three American CVs are forced to return home to US to restock their air wings.

The assault is looks succesful at first, but a few surviving defenders manage to cut off the advance, and the invaders are forced back into the sea at the last moment.
